Description
This is Zod's Bosspole carrier - a major minor conversion and combination of various methods.
This little nipper started off with the base model that had it's spear trimmed down to the hand, then had an alternative shaft from a plastic spear added to the top (the shaft is "upside down" with the spear tip sliced off) then some "green stuff" (an epoxy putty) was used to fill the gap between the hand and the new shaft and sculpted to tie in with the bandaged shaft, to further sell the illusion a knot was added to the back.
The left over green stuff was used to form a hill on the base beneath the model to give it some extra height. The "glyph" of the banner was slice out of plasticard with a stanley knife and a leather hole punch was used to make the eye - this was then glued to the shaft with a small nut/bolt on the shaft side a a sliver of spear shaft on the other side to sell the idea that the glyph had been bolted to the pole - cover the "hill" and base in some dirt and VOILA - you have a model that just needs to be painted up to become what it is now
